CAN NOW BE USED ONLINE using the folder method.

New install instructions:

Copy the file you want (Rally New Zealand or Generic) and paste it the game directory, creating subfolders as required: cars/ers/livery_00/textures_high

Livery 00 will replace the main livery in game (#1).
