Can't do Licences....?

Hi wonder if anyone can help.
I have recently got back into this having bought a Key and activated through Steam.
I have done the 1.1 patch and then the 'no disc' patch so that i can have access to Ferrari's and Porsche's.
The problem i have now is the Licence tests don't work. When i click on each one listed on the left it loads the track, but after that nothing appears just a blank menu and the 'start' button doesn't click.

Any ideas?

To get the Ferrari and Porsche cars back in the Steam-version, simply...

1) install the v1.10 patch
2) install the GTR2 No-CD EXE

There the ones i used and it works.
so there might be another problem then.
always good to start back at the beginning just in case the obvious was miss done or a bad download was to blame.

hope you get it working.
