Changing AI practice cars

Is there a way to change AI practice cars? i actually haven't raced a lot but I want to change the cars I practice against on the the track. I have private practice OFF and want to change settings to have faster cars than Seats right now. I have new cars downloaded and would like to try those.

use the car filter found in the Race menu, and then go back to Practice and it's be locked to your selection...
