which version to take? I always had Steam version, I used the steam community a lot in game with car setups. So i guess if i buy the origin version this is gone?

If you’re planning on playing with friends get whichever version they have. There’s no crossplay at the moment.

Doesn't matter which version you get, they are the same.
I have it on Origin, as I only pay £50 a year for EA Play Pro and you get lots of EA games for free with the service.
