Feature Crowdfunding or Bounty Pledging

What do people think of crowdfunding or bounty pledges for new features, enhancements, or fixes they'd love to see modders do but which don't get attention, particularly because GTR2 is pretty old?

There would simply be a list of features anybody could ask for and people could pay up or pledge to donate if the mod were successfully completed.

My wishlist includes a few things I'd be willing to contribute a few bucks to with the hope that others would join in to make it worthwhile for modders to put in the effort.

Here's some ideas:

- Clean iRacing-like UI elements like pedal meters (including gear, speed, and wheel rotation visualization), Stats meters (including lag, connection quality, force feedback, I/O, etc), Lap Timing box, Relative box (how far/close are those in front/behind), Tire Temps/Wear

- Remember wheel lock

- Balance of Power fixes for some mods

- Tire Heating/Cooling fixes for some mods

- Premium track updates, HD textures, that kind of thing

I realize some mods already cover these areas, and a lot more, but I'm thinking of features/enhancements that are done to a much higher level of quality given that they're paid.

I'd love to hear what the GTR2 fans think about it!
