Few phisics question

Hi,
I am developing some phisics. I have few questions

What do you do if you want to simulate gearbox that needs throttle lift during shifting to engage gears properly (for example like HSO Indycar 1988 have)

And what do you do if you want to simulate bad throttle response. For example abrupt delivery of power following substantial lag.

Copy the lines in the hdv file that refer to upshift clutch time and advanced shift delay etc...
About the power delay, not sure, torque curves etc can be manipulated, the Reiza F Classics simulate that well, but I believe the car files are encrypted...
