FOV Police - pull me please- help!

So I have recently moved from VR to triples and after much back and forth online trying to avoid the FOV police I just cannot understand what I am doing wrong here. Screenshots of the settings, 32" LG monitor, placed between wheel base and wheel (which I think is right), my eye line is about midway vertical, I have turned off Nvidia surround as it hasn't played nice with AMS2 and followed this guide for setting the size: link

Help needed please!

I have reset the seat position in game but you see the steering column is way out compared with my quick release/wheel base. What am i doing wrong?

You might start playing with Vertical Offset to drop the virtual steering column to match the real steering column. Maybe 0.15 meters or -0.15 meters?

Although I can't tell which playseat you're using, the basic problem is your eye level is too far above the steering wheel. Vertical Offset is a partial solution, but the better solution is pictured below.

You want it like this, with eyes just above the steering wheel:

Rather than this, where chin (or lower) is at steering wheel height:

Interesting thank you. I have the play seat F1 (top picture) but am 183cm tall so probably need to lift the wheel an amount and see if that helps with alignment and then vertical tweak the last few cm as needed
