G29 clutch - why bother?

Hi, i've just bought logitech G29 with no H-shifter for now and tried it on AC and PnG, with automatic clutch OFF on cars with manual gearbx, but i always can change gear without using clutch, is it something i can do about? Would H-shifter change it?

Errr, which game.

In AC you can most certainly not always change gears without clutch.

Depends on the sim. In rF2, the clutch has not been implemented properly.

I mean Assetto Corsa, tried for example Bmw 1m, an i can always change gear without clutch, it will spin wheels if i won't left off throttle, but still can do withot it. The same for Power and Glory cars.
