How to get rid of the Controller with a Rift S?

My Rift S insistes on having a Controller enabled, although I don't need any controllers at all as I only drive in Sims, and therefore only need the headset itself.
I havn't found any setting in the Occulus Software, does anybody know of a hack?

Due to nobody replying until now, I assume there is no way to use the headset without at least one controller? At least not without having to deal with nag screens all the time...Waste of battery's really.

It's a shame, but I also don't think it's possible. Currently it's awful with the nagging message that the batteries are going low, unable to ignore...

I didn't know it was like that on the S, on the CV there's no need to use the controllers when I load ACC from steam. I suppose it predates controllers.
