Also make sure that the wheel not is connected on a usb hub
better is to use a usb port on the back of the PC

When installing the software for the wheel make sure the wheel is not connected on usb, the software will tell you when to plug in the wheel

I don't need a USB hub, I have enough ports on the front and back
