In-Game Voice Chat

I am having problems with the in-game voice chat, cant hear anything... Every now and then there is this small box appearing at the bottom of my screen indicating someone is talking, though i cant hear it. Spotter is working fine, and i've got chat volume set to max. Anyone know what might be the problem??

Check on the sound page (in-race or testing) that you have in-car chat enabled and that the output device is selected to what you are using (it is a separate selection from your main sound output device).
