Mis-shifting AMS modding

And now for mis-shifting.
I add the following to the HDV section actain under [DRIVELINE] this time.
AdvancedTransmission=1
ClutchDisengagementThreshold=0.8 // Threshold beyond which the clutch is pressed enough to never mis-shift (0.0-1.0 scale).
UpshiftRPMDifference=1250 // Absolute RPM delta between the engine and wheels (after going through the gearbox) beyond which a mis-shift occurs (if you don't use a clutch).
DownshiftRPMDifference=1250 // Absolute RPM delta for downshifts.
AdvancedUpshiftDelay=0.05
AdvancedDownshiftDelay=0

Now you will be able to load a multiplayer server and not allow auto clutch, sit back and watch everyone fail to post a lap time because they keep mis-shifting because we all forget that clutches are a thing in sim racing :)

Cheers
Sam

Hey Sam,

In rFactor, there's a ClutchEngageRate varialble. From the FullFeature.hdv file that's floating out there:
ClutchEngageRate=0.6 // how fast to engage clutch

Do I leave it in there?
Since it becomes an "AMS" AdvancedTransmission, do I remove it?
Or do I simply set it up with the same value as ClutchDisengagementThreshold?

BTW, thank you for your post on the F1_75 LE (HE) thread.

Later,
