RaceRoom not starting

So I have been having issues with neither 64 or 32 bit version wanting to start. The splash screen show and a window behind it, but the game never loads. This happened after the latest updates, I had no issues before, but I deleted both .exe in the folders an re-validated the game, still nothing, what gives?

Anybody else had this happen?

Are you playing with VR?

If so, I noticed that if I had SteamVR running before launching the game, it would hang on the splash screen. If I shut down SteamVR and then start the game, it worked.

i have the same problem.
can see it in task manager as a backround app using no resources.
steam also things its running
