rFactor Skinning Help

Hello, sorry for the noob questions. I know the basics of skinning as I did a lot of skins in another race sim: Live for Speed.

However, rFactor skinning is confusing me at the moment. Can someone please help me?

Ok... for this particular mod... V8Factor Unleashed, I'm trying to skin for a falcon. So I created a new team with a new VEH file and converted the skin to a DDS DXT5. The team shows up in the selection ingame BUT the skin just comes up blank. Any help please?

Hi guys ,

like we say , it´s always good to share what we learn , it can help

So i come back to you to give you a trick (lol) regarding the alpha layer , to give a very shinny (to much sometime , it looks like a chrome paint) or not shinny (matt to the extreme) .

Here it is .After few test you can also "play with the "contrast" and the "liminosity that you can modidify in the option "image" on the top of PHOTO SHOP. (see image below)

Or you can play with the "levels" (image/setup/levels/ ) also in the option "image". (see picture below)
