Samsung Odyssey+ Firmware Update?

For the past few days, I've been getting a pop-up message upon PC boot-up with a link to a firmware upgrade for my Odyssey+ WMR Headset. I have never updated it's firmware since buying it about 6 months ago. And it's performing perfectly, so I'm hesitant to "mess with success".

Has anyone else gotten these messages? Have you updated the firmware? What did that accomplish and what are the risks?

The Odyssey+ has had at least one firmware patch that I recall, it applied and doesn't seem to do much at all. It is pretty safe to apply it as far as I know.
