Transmission types?

I just got myself a shifter which can swap from h pattern to sequential and was wondering what the various cars in GSC have?
I'm planning to try and drive the Mini properly from the start, but it's tough to teach an old dog new tricks and I've picked up a lot of bad habits sim racing...

Well, I guess they are as follows:
F3, V8 = sequential, use clutch only for start* (V8 you need to clutch when downshifting)
*don't know if you need to clutch every shift on F3 - on F3 I only use clutch to start
Classic (and Mini?) = h-pattern (full clutch use, down and upshifting)
Formula Reiza = paddle (clutch only for start)

I may be wrong.

Cheers Fernando. That's what I thought too. Wikipedia however says the Formula 3 cars have manual six speed...which is a shame because using the h pattern added about 2 secs to my lap time in testing just now!

Hi Anthony. I think F3 has a lot of variants around the world.

Here in Brazil (where the GSC sim is based) F3 uses the Dallara chassis and have 5 speed sequential gearbox:

Of course you can find F3 equipped with paddles, if you wish
