After struggling for years as a mercedes customer team, it was clear that Aston Martin needed a works partnership to challenge the leading pack of the F1 grid.
With Audi also wanting to form a partnership with an already existing team, Aston Martin have decided to embark on a joint venture with Audi to create Aston Martin-Audi Sport F1 Team
