This Unreal Engine tweak will ensure to compile as much as possible shaders while loading the stage to reduce stutter during the rally.
It will also reduce the bloom and the overall gamma of the game to not have blinding road, most notably in Mexico or on snow surface.
Finally it increases the draw distance of objects and shadows to avoid distracting pop-in.

Can't speak to the performance as I have never had issues with this game, but this has finally fixed the blinding brightness from the cockpit view. Thank you!
Makes the game actually playable for me.
Simply excellent, the game looks way better and is silky smooth now
Thanks for providing these fixes to the issues I was having in the game! I can actually see what I'm doing now!
This settings makes my game run alot smoother and it looks good than the default :D
just tried v1.3 and as per your recommendations, removed "r.EyeAdaptation.LensAttenuation=0.45", but it definately is still required from my experience. the mexico stages are insanely overexposed, and many other stages in time trials are not as bad but still terrible, having LensAttenuation on makes it so much better. atleast for me and my monitor

Thanks for the feedback, did you try without it but lowering the game brightness to 25 or below ? I find it playable now without that lensattenuation in the engine.ini.

Holy guacamole, the "lensattenuation" actually fixed the overexposure from cockpit view! Have been tinkering with a lot of other settings there, but never came across this one - which actually fixed it! Thanks!
hi, many thx foryou'r job, still works after patch 1.3?

So far yes. I haven't yet tested the game without to see if it is still "required".
Excellent! Improved the overall image quality and the game runs smoother.

finally i can see where i am going!
Finally I can drive Sweden without getting flashbanged (and I can actually see the track). Also the game in general looks better imo.
hi Thanks for the download, wasn't a huge improvement even with a 6900xt I'm still turning down settings to get reasonable performance, your mod has improved the stutter I think, but still getting vegetation and ruts building in front of the car.
Very good job mate, many thanks. I have less stutter and/or less harsh, above all I get rid of that ridiculous overexposed bloom and now I can see snow tracks.

But generally speaking, seems to me that the game is still an early access, hope that an official patch will be released soon: ok, my pc is quite old nowadays, but meets anyway recommended specs except for a bit outdated CPU (I have good fps in general though), but stuttering and other issues are reported on actual high-end PCs too, no matter about your resolution and graphics downsizing. Moreover, seems very unoptimized and not using all the actual available hardware (don't even a cooling fan works, differently i.e. from Dirt 2.0 or Snowrunner, my pc seems at idle all the time). Finally, using for a racing title a gfx engine well known for being high demanding vs poor performances and doesn't look very well too seems a technical suicide for me.
Works perfectly, thank you very much bro !
Unfortunately i didn't see aby difference in performance. Even switching to 1080p+dlss balanced with medium settings and game barely make 60fps. RTX 3080,5800x3D, 32GB RAM W11.

That's weird, I am staying at 70 FPS most of the time on a 2060 (not super) with a mixture of high and medium, outside of area where the game clearly streams content (ie every 2-3 minute to load the next bit of the stage). Try lowering crowd and coverage to low. Also if you use DLSS you can downgrade the anti aliasing to medium or even low without anything noticeable (DLSS does most of the AA).
It is same for EA App, not Steam? Idon´t find where is field that i have to replace
Thanks for your help ^^
Awesome stuff. Not only that the game runs smoother now, but it looks twice as good with the adjusted gamma. Original game felt wierd, like looking at an overexposed picture and the colours were off too because of it.
Yeah looks well better but after installing game said I'm missing my content vip pass how do I reinstall that missing stuff
