With the launch date of October 10th fast approaching, Forza Motorsport has been busy with revealing content that is going to be available in the initial version of the game. Many fans have been missing the Nürburgring from the track list - now, the legendary Eifel circuit has been confirmed, though patience is needed to fully enjoy the track. Another venue has also been confirmed somewhat sneakily.

The Nürburgring is a venue that cannot really be missing from any track-based racing title that is not focused on the track roster of a single series, so players can breathe a sigh of relief: The Ring will be available at launch in Forza Motorsport - in its GP Circuit guise, that is.
Make no mistake, the circuit is far from a bad racing experience in its modern layout at just over 5 kilometers, as the reworked track that initially opened in 1984 is generally regarded as one of the better modern tracks in the world. But the actual crown jewel players are looking forward to in any racing simulation or game is the much longer, much older part of the venue.
What seems like a cruel teaser à la Assetto Corsa Competizione, where sim racers have wished for the Nordschleife to be added for ages and have been racing in the shadow of the legendary circuit, actually makes sense considering the graphical improvements Turn 10 and Microsoft are aiming for. Naturally, a track the size of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife would take longer to be polished up to spec compared to shorter circuits.
Speaking of shorter circuits: Another track has sneakily been announced, if you want to call it that - Mugello was added to the list of initial tracks on the official Forza website, including an added hint at it being announced on August 22nd. An actual announcement is nowhere to be found, however.

With the confirmation of both the Nürburgring and Mugello, the list of tracks available at launch is extended to 17 - that leaves three more to reach the 20 locations that are going be available on October 10th, as the official website states. Green Hell Delayed
At over 20 kilometers in length, the Nordschleife offers a unique challenge like no other circuit. Forza fans will have to wait for a little longer than October to tackle it, however: According to the official announcement, the Green Hell proper is going to join the circuit roster in Spring of 2024 as a free track. Return to Tuscany
Still, the Italian track located just north of Florence is a favorite of many and has been in numerous Forza Motorsport titles before, having made its return to Forza Motorsport 7 after being absent from Motorsport 5 and 6. The return to Tuscany should be a welcome addition to the game's track list. With the confirmation of both the Nürburgring and Mugello, the list of tracks available at launch is extended to 17 - that leaves three more to reach the 20 locations that are going be available on October 10th, as the official website states.
