Brand-new hardware and developments are expected at Sim Formula Europe 2024. Trak Racer got a head start on this, as the hardware manufacturer announced a set of load cell pedals, a sequential shifter, a handbrake and more new equipment including a wheel base that will be on show at Maastricht via an Instagram reel. Thus far, they mostly offered rigs, seats and monitor mounts.
Brand-new software will also be on display. The Last Garage, led by former Studio 397 Managing Director Marcel Offermans, will have a playable prototype of their all-new sim racing platform ready for visitors. The platform is set to feature 1000 Hz physics, support for laser-scanned circuits and compatibility for triple screens and VR out of the box. To find out more, check out our article on the project!
Finally, a discussion panel featuring Hubert Mackus, Jeanette Oostijen, Collin Spork and Raf Sluismans talking about Impact Gaming will close out the seminar. The discussion will be held in Dutch.
To find out more about all speakers in the seminar and claim your seat (free of charge), check out the official Sim Formula Europe 2024 website.

Having prevailed in hotlap qualifying as well as two qualifier races, eight sim racers will battle it out for title glory and their share of the €10.000 prize pool. To make victory in the Super-Final powered by OverTake even sweeter, a GRID Porsche 911 RSR GTE steering wheel awaits the winner – a seriously cool piece of kit!
Check back later this week for a preview of the Super-Final, as well as where to watch if you cannot make it to Maastricht. Qualification is set to go underway at 1.55 pm CET.
