WATCH: F1 24 Updated Tracks Comparison

F1 24 promises updated versions of no less than four tracks, bringing them up to their current looks. How have EA Sports and Codemasters done in this regard? Check out our comparison video to find out!

Fans have been asking for it for years, and F1 24 finally delivers: The latest Formula One game features a version of Spa-Francorchamps that is in line with the real track after its modernization work. Work had started in 2020 and included extended run-off at Eau Rougue and Raidillon, the addition of several gravel traps, and new grandstands.

Meanwhile, the circuits for the Qatar and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix have received significant facelifts, mostly next to the track. However, their kerbs have been reworked as well, which should make itself felt when racing at those venues, too.

Finally, the historic Silverstone Circuit got some polish as well. The British GP venue's accuracy for things like kerbs was also upped according to Codemasters and EA Sports.

How different are the tracks? Our video shows you some side-by-side comparisons.

Let us know what you think of the updated tracks in F1 24 - either on Twitter @OverTake_gg or in the comments below!

The obsession with graphics are why so many Sims focus on them more than immersive gameplay elements, like realistic simulation of Safety car procedures and FCYs that provide variables to the single player experience so not every race is the same race.

But hey ... look at those sunsets .....

P.S. It's also why LMU needs 32Gb of memory and stutters if you don't have it.

Is the fact they've lined the Qatar track with trees just going to be glossed over? Completely inaccurate. Game looks awful, esports players saying its a mess and the videos of the new handling making it look laughable. Waste of money.

Nothing surprises me, every year it's the same thing, you gain a little there, but you lose a little there, always a change of details.
They always sell a physics evolution, but in the end, every year it's like this, it's not a new game, it's a DLC with the price of a new game.
But it's not just the game director's fault who says that the game doesn't need a new graphics engine, or physics engine, but the consumers who accept this outdated product, or are afraid of it not coming out on their old console, or of not running on your older PC, or because you can't have more mods for the game, it doesn't matter, it's the fault of the consumers who will still buy this update DLC with perfumes of old pilots and bla bla bla.
It doesn't matter if it's going to be UR5, a new EGO or any other engine, this game needs to evolve, it needs to bring new experiences, it needs to surprise its consumer, but it's been in this cycle of lose and win since 2015.

I have 32Gb in RAM and a GTX 4060 8 GB. No problems in F1 2023 and LMU

If they'd rip up the pavement and stick a big wing up on top of those things, I'd be more interested. The last time I went to a Formula One race, Nikki Lauda won the US Grand Prix in a Ferrari. I think it was 1975. Now sprint cars, on the other hand...

To be fair, F1 2015 has this awful deadzone issue with a wheel (and the only game of the series that has been given for free several times), so any other F1 game before and after is better :D. The strange thing is that F1 2015 was supposed to be an apology for the 2014 fiasco with its limited content and features (after a great F1 2013 with classic cars and tracks).

F1 2019 was the best game of this 2014 to 2019 era imo, thanks to the longest list of classic cars, which I liked to race with (surprisingly they felt much better than their modern counterparts).

I totally agree with you, no innovation no buy. Customers get what they ask for. If they don't buy these lazy games anymore, the next year CM will bring something new and maybe brillant. This company needs to be challenged. It continually feeds its customers with garbage and they eat, they even pay for that, and then they criticise CM because the games are badly optimized / ugly / full of bugs... just stop buying this one year, just one year and you'll get the game you deserve in only one year... I assume it is too hard for F1's fans and it won't happen, let's keep on the cycle...
