F1 2021 has been updated to version 1.15, which brings bugfixes and improvements, including adjusted AI speed through select corners.
The calendar year may now read 2022, but F1 2021 is still receiving updates from developer Codemasters. The recent update brings the title to version 1.15. While not a major update, the fixes and changes will bring welcome improvements to the most recent official F1 game.
Among the changes are adjustments to the speed the AI cars are able to carry through specific corners. The Red Bull Ring, Spa Francorchamps, and Zandvoort will see the AI cars slowed slightly through specific corners.
Another notable addition is the ability to race your custom team within a Grand Prix. Previously the Grand Prix slots were filled by the real world teams, but players can now bring their custom built teams to the grid. To fill the second team seat, you can choose an F2 driver other than Schumacher, Mazepin or Tsunoda.
With still a month to go before the real-world teams start their winter testing, those of us longing for Formula 1 action can try out some of the improvements found in 1.15 of F1 2021 to satisfy that craving. If you've tried out any of the new features in the January update, let us know in the comments below.
