1.4 sol and ppfilters

hi peeps.... I recently just added sol 1.4, but when in game and I try and change the ppf the race instantly shuts down and returns to the main menu ….is anyone else having /had this issue ?
is there any work arounds or gave I installed something incorrectly?
any help or advice would be great
