Second race winner James Thompson in a brilliant race.
Excellent weekend for J.T.
Good to see the alfa back on top.
Even Tielemans did good in the second race.
And it`s good for the championship.
But what when they get weights in there car.....could they still be fast.
Farfus did not score any points so it`s closing up on eachother.
And to bad Coronel did finish in a damaged car.
Hopefuly the new enginge wil bring mutch inprovemend for Tom.

two brilliant races

boy, taped the races this afternoon cause I was out jogging, had a shower and watched them two in a row: What a blast! There was more racing in those two races than in a whole year of formula1!!
But look at the empty seats: Nobody knows where the real action is!
race 1 lap 1 and farfus' mad attack: just goes to show that the FIA designed a format where drivers are under pressure a lot. So, small wonder we have our tussles as well in the rpm tournament! Can't wait for the next race of either series!
Also: what a pity we cannot use the weight penalties, with the beemers 35 kg lighter the race would have been different.
And in case you haven't noticed: a chevy in place 4 overall (Larini), hehe!

Terting news:

He was driving in the GT-Open and the Spanish GT series series in a SunRed SR21. Not sure if he will do the rest of the season.

This weekend at Pau the FIA WTCC qualifying will be held for the first time on the extended duration of 45 minutes, from 3.00 to 3.45 pm.
This means an extra 15 minutes compared to the usual 30. Longer qualifying sessions will also take place later in the season at Porto and Macau.

This change has been introduced in order to limit the problems that might occurr on street circuits, like last year in Macau, when two red flags and a shower permitted the drivers to complete only two attempts for posting a qualifying lap.

This weekend at Pau Tom Coronel has a little lustrum.
He wil drive his 100 th race in a touring car since the beginning of his career.

Tom hat a bit of a shitty test day at the Pau circuit.
He got a 19th with 1.25.524 on the crono.
Olivier Tielemans drove a 1.25.949 with a 22th time.

Fastest so far whas the suis driver Alain Menu with 1.23.588 on the clock.
2th with 1.23.648 whas Yvan Muller in the Seat.
James Tompson whas 16th with a time of 1.24.902.
Rob Huff make`s it a Chevrolet sandwich with a 3th place.

There where already lots of drivers who hat a diffycult time keeping the car out of the guardrail.
Tielemans and Sergio Hernandez got a little "get together"but could continue with no real damage.

Let`s see what Pau has to give us.
And hope Tom can make a difference here.
Afterall he should have that new engine in the front of his Seat.

Wait,Hope and See that he does.
