Great lap by Hamilton, but I wonder how much they improved on tyre wear! If it's the same as the last few races, and it won't rain, I think they don't have a chance. Alonso however I think has a chance again, he was close again, and Ferrari always seem to improve a lot compared to Red Bull in races.

anyone else happy to not have Vettel in pole finally? i dont hate him or anything, im just happy to finally have a change. hopefully Webber can hold his position, if either him or Hamilton finish first, i'll be satisfied.

i just want webber to shine over vettel :)

Tires wont be so much of a problem here. 30 laps on Softer tire and 100 laps on harder tires is the predicted tire limits from pirelli here.

And for the first time since 12 races ago, we seen ain't see Vettel on the 2 first positions, hahaha. Maybe Webber stills angry 'cause the order of Christian Horner in Silverstone, and is running faster because of that. xD

Im glad Webber is on Pole and Lewis outperformed Seb. about time.

Im going for a Webber, Maclaren or Alonso win...most preferably Webber as long as he doesnt screw up on the start.

For British and/or BBC viewers.

I have not watched F1 very often, do you guys know if Murray Walker is commentating for the German GP?

It's great to hear him again though I will admit, he sounds more like his age after watching a YouTube video.

No. He did some of the British gp coverage as a guest, but he doesn't do F1 races anymore.

I think he is great but unfortunately the excitement would probably kill him now!
