Also interesting is the "driver's position more upright at Fernando Alonso's request". I've often wondered why Alonso's head was lower and a little bit more angled in the cockpit than, say, the Red Bull drivers. Seems he actually didn't like it...

No problem, i just copy and paste what i can find on F1Technical. 99% of the guys are like us, no knowledge in aero or similar but once in a while a gold nugget pops up with some great insight on certain stuff.

Scarbs F1 blog is also a very nice thing to read if you are really into in-depth analyzes of cars or features.

Everything except the sidepods is correct though. sort of.

It´s been rumored that Rory Byrne have developed a new floor that will exploit some loopholes.
Apparently it will arrive in BCN TEST 2.

It´s him an Newey that are the true geniuses and before ´10-´11 it was Byrne who was the most succesful of the two.

It´s been talked about from two different sources, unknown in what they do but we have to wait and see.

He is a consultant for Ferrari though so not impossible. And he´s a chemical engineer so expect something innovative if true.
