To go fast,you've to find YOUR LIMIT.You must do the best passage on each corner of the track.This is easy to say but difficult to do....Behind my wheel,I wet my tee-shirt......:D
You can help yourself braking points of your ghost.A tip:for your first lap,you make a clean lap.This ghost becomes your reference to do your best time.If you improve your lap,you leave the competition to not save the new chrono.It's easier(nervously) to beat a time when you see that you're ahead.For example,on this round 3,I was trying to beat a time of 47.831s.When you see in the mirror than the ghost is far,you are motivated.
Another thing,I play with automatic transmission.I go up or down a gear if it's really necessary.
