This season Honda and Renault can't catchup with Merc/Ferrari. Meaning RB quits F1. Merc doesn't want to have B-C teams and they also call it a day (stays as supplier for McLaren). So we stay with: Ferrari-Alfa-McLaren-Renault-Haas-Williams(who takes Renault engines). Because of only 6 teams, to save the sport FIA changes to 3 driver teams.
Lineups:
Ferrari: Vettel-Leclerc-Hamilton
Alfa: Kimi-Giovinazzi-Giotto
McLaren: Norris-Verstapen-Alonso
Renault: Ricciardo-Hulkenberg-Latifi
Haas: Magnussen-Grosjean-Perez
Williams: Bottas-Russel-Ocon

Now imagine these 6 in Ferrari-McLaren with almost equal cars.
