30 FPS with AMD radeon 5700XT

Hi guys, I have a PC with followig specs but in game i get 30 fps with Epic settings,
my monitor is 75 hz 2560x1080 and FPS limiters are off;

Is it normal or i miss a configuratio hint?

Sapphire radeon RX5700XT Nitro+ GDDR6
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GSKILL DDR4 3600 2x8GB
MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI DDR4 4400
XPG 512GB SSD 3500/2400

Maybe epic is too high then i guess?

AMD 5700xt is 2070 super equivalent card afaik. So you say just nvidia 2080 Owners would be able to play with epic settings?

Closing the mirros did not help however; with the help of the post below I managed to get a fixed 60 fps, but i know i am able to get more since it is almost everytime at 60 like something is limited there.

Have you checked the driver settings, for example the "AMD Chill" function?

I got the same card last weekend and had similar problems. Try the following:

1. Choose a custom resolution in windows ( 1080p would be fine)
2.restart
3. choose the same resolution ingame
4. turn off HDR ingame

Don't know what exactly fixed it but now my game runs at 90 fps.

Try 20.4.1 drivers. have the same graphics card, and all the newer drivers are causing problems, except for 20.4.1.

Here is what I am getting with the 5700xt on high settings. Resolution of 3440x1440 (monitor is 100hz). The 81 FPS you see below is a little higher than normal. In a full race with ~25 cars I am around 70FPS. Specs are below the screenshot.

PC specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x
RAM: 32GB PC3200
HD: OS on 512 M.2 SSD, Games on 3TB HDD
Video Card: Powercolor 5700xt
GPU Drivers - 20.4.2
Windows Version: Win10 Version 1909
