3080/3080ti vs 1440p x 3 & ACC

The avg 1440p fps for a 3080/3080ti as per techpowerup is 154.6/170 FPS. So it means on a 1440p x 3 triple screen setup we will get 51.5/56.6 FPS.

We know that ACC is the most hardware demanding SIM racing title.

So is it fair to say the current generation 3000 series GPU is not able to give a Smooth experience for 1440p triple screen in ACC.

Maybe we need a minimum 4060ti or a 4070 for atleast 75+ smooth FPS for 1440p x 3 triple screen in ACC....?!?

Thanks.

Sorry for necroposting but do you need a displayport 1.4 monitor to be able to acheive 120hz+ on triple 1440p? I have a 3080ti and I'm looking to upgrade my 1080p 24" monitors to 1440p 27", but the ones that boasts displayport 1.4 are quite rare and expensive.

I cant seem to find an exact answer to will a triple 1440p monitor setup will be able to run at 120-144hz using displayport 1.2?

One 1440p 16:9 monitor on one dp 1.2 is totally fine!
I have a 3440x1440 monitor that only has dp 1.2 and runs fine at 120 Hz.

So for triples, you normally connect all monitors to a separate dp port on your graphics card. Which is why most GPUs have 3x dp + 1x hdmi.

However if you want to daisy chain them via one cable to the graphics card, you'll need dp 1.4!

Speaking of daisy chaining DP, what is required to do this? I've never tried it before.

Thanks for clarifying this @RasmusP ! Looks like I can remove one more parameter in my search for the perfect bang for buck monitor. So many monitors with similar specs...
