45 vs 90 Degree Side Mount Seat Bracket

What's the difference between a 45 degree side mount bracket for seat mounting vs a 90 degree? I see more 45 degree ones, but why is that better than 90 degrees? I will be getting a bucket seat for my P1-X, but I can't figure out why one or the other would be best for my use case? I like this one so far. As far as I can tell, distance between seat mounting piece that goes up and down and part that bolts into rig is the same, but the angle juts it out wider a bit, I just don't understand why. https://www.amazon.com/Sparco-4902-Black-Steel-Mount/dp/B00E5ZIMJW

So you can fit wider seat.
I had to use 90 degrees on Rseat RS1 as Courbeau FX Wide did not fit supplied angled mounts.

BTW, I am using the same seat with angled Sparco brackets on P1-X as it's more flexible with seat support width adjustment.

Can't tell I have noticed any functional differences between two, angled I use is just a bit higher.
