You need to change the xml name to the default (
porsche_911_gte.xml in the same folder).
The other option is to copy and paste the code from the single livery to the default xml.
(preferred option as it's single cars. This most of the time is the best way to do it as you can combine liveries in stead of overwriting the ones previously applied)
Because it concerns a single livery, I have chosen not to overwrite the standard XML.
So if you use the different individual liveries for the same car from me, you have to combine the xmls anyway.
is about this part:
<LIVERY_OVERRIDE LIVERY="54" NAME="Team Project 1 #46" BASELIVERY="Default">
<PREVIEWIMAGE PATH="WEC\46_Team_Project_1_preview.dds" />
<TEXTURE NAME="BODY" PATH=" WEC\46_Team_Project_1.dds" />
<TEXTURE NAME="WINDSCREEN" PATH="WEC\46_Team_Project_1s_window.dds" />
</LIVERY_OVERRIDE>
where
LIVERY="[LiveryID] is important. This refers to the liver you want to overwrite. The other 2 links point to the texture location it should be overwritten with.
NAME is the title you see when selecting livery in-game
You can show the livery ID's in-game
(shows car ID's in livery selection screen) by adding the launch parameter -showLiveryIDs to steam.
LIVERY_OVERRIDE LIVERY="[LiveryID]"
In case for instance you have all default liveries and want to overwrite one or more specific ones.
If you already have applied liveries to a car and want to overwrite certain ones, you can also just use the DDS plugin for Photoshop, or better yet, simply install the
nVidea thingy that'll make win explorer show .dds thumbnails. So you can do it visually and edit the xml accordingly.
