Week three of the Ferrari Celebration takes us to a place where these beauties can stretch their legs a little more. This week the manufacturers load up and head to the beach and the Daytona Road Course. Ferrari, Ford, Porsche....pick your poison men.

Drivers, since this is a multi manufacturer event, please have your car of choice in by Thursday 17:00 CDT (22:00 GMT) so we can finalize the server. All late car changes and sign ups will be able to pick from what is left. Thank you for understanding.

I had originally posted this with the Sebring track, but after further testing, it was just too fps demanding at this time and I thought it would interfere with the ability of being able to safely race closely with our competitors. I'm sure the author is still working on this, but I wanted to give it a try since we have such great mod makers here at RD. In order to find a happy medium I shifted it to Daytona which is a good track. Thanks for understanding.

RACEDEPARTMENT.COM US 60's LMP Practice #38 server is up and running

A message to all Drivers
If you run off track, you have to check and see that its clear before you re-enter the track. Do not just keep the gas pinned and pull back on track.
When entering the track from the pits stay off the racing line until you are up to speed and do not race on your out lap. Let other drivers by in qualifying.
On re-entering the track stay off the racing line until you are up to race speed and do not block any fast approaching car. Remember, you've made the mistake by going off so let them by cleanly.
Golden Rule

Be 100% sure it's not your fault and just carry on like nothing happened and take the risk of being banned for 30 days.
Play on the safe side and wait for the affected drivers, knowing 100% sure you will not get a ban.

Track limits

No more than 2 wheels over the white/yellow line without a complete lift of the gas please if it is safe to do so.
You will be penalized if you break our rules

@Dirk Steffen and @Andrew Scott I went in last night after we all called it a night and did some running and Sebring is just to hard on lesser computers. Dirk, thank you for making me rethink this. I know Daytona may not be that much better, but it is miles ahead on my machine and that's what I use as a yardstick. I could run Sebring, but my frames were between 30-50 by myself. On Daytona they are 45-75 with a full field. Just trying to do what is best

I am trying to be at this one. It depends on if my friend can run my son to football practice. If not I will be late to the start. Sign me up with the GT40. I only did a little shake down run in the 908 the other day so I am going to be hanging at the back of the grid for everyone's safety lol!
