911 GT3 R 2016 at Silverstone Setup issues or my issues?

Hey all, so I just got back on simracing and signed up for some online GT3 championship. I'm using 911 GT3 R 2016 on Silverstone and the best time I was able to do was 2:04.9... I'm over 4 seconds down to the best times.

The biggest issues I face when looking at the telemetry is the speed at Copse and Abbey - I'm almost 20kph slower then the rest (albeit in other gt3 cars).

The even bigger issue is that most (timesheets are dominated by MB, Ferrari, Nissan, BMW) of the best times (I believe) has splitter and wing quite low and still outperform me drastically in med-high speed corners.

Is it the setup issue? What other adjustments, other than aero could help me keep up the pace in those corners?

Maybe this car just does not turn hence the fastest time with the porsche is 02:03.550?

Maybe I'm just unskilled?

Hey man. 20kph speed difference in a GT3 car can be a small tap on the brakes. They could start corner entry/turn in 5-10cm wider than you to give them more speed, have the car balanced different than you, maybe some guys sacrifice 1% setup on rest of the track, and maybe adjust it more for speed in particular corner. I’d say it’s both setup and skill without looking at a replay from you. 4 seconds is a lot too, so maybe there is more time to find with different driving line or technique. In 10 laps, you won’t even see them when they’re 40 sec ahead
