I run VR with a Samsung Odyssey+ headset.
I have often read that, if your VR headset can't maintain 90 FPS, it locks down to 45 FPS max. IOW, if you can't run at 90, you're stuck at 45. Please correct me if that's wrong, but that has pretty much been my experience with most of my sims. (rF2 and AC immediately come to mind).
However - with AMS2 Beta, I'm running with FPS usually in the mid-70's. - a nice surprise. Can anyone explain why/how that's possible in AMS2 Beta, but not in my other sims? Are there settings that I need to change in Steam VR/WMR/in-game for the sims stuck at 45?
Thanks!
