Hi all!

Has anyone tried the EC shifter? http://ecsimshop.com/product.php?id_product=34
Does it come with a shorter shiftstick?

What about the TH8 RS? Is it possible to change the shiftstick to a shorter one?

My problem is that i want a new shifter but all of them are very long and i'd have to mount it near at the same height of the wheel!

They do have a shorter knob on their site and when I ordered mine I asked for the shorter one but when it arrived it was the long one. Not sure if they don't supply the shorter one with that shifter, they forgot or just didn't see my request.

Anyway, you can easily replace the knob. It's M10 1.25 pitch thread. Some pictures here. Heights are from top of knob to top of the case.

Original: 178mm

The underlying rod: 80mm. M10 1.25 pitch

Mugen: 120mm. This is a M10 1.5 pitch but fits tight when screwed down to the brass extender thing

Hybrid knob: 140mm. Currently using this. Feels nice holding from top or side.

Another long stick . This is how I shortened mine.
And here is how I shortened the throw via a custom short shift plate. I have a few plates left, so if anyone has a TH8 RS and want to shorten the throw, send me a PM. AUD $30 shipped worldwide or AUD $27 for Australia.

about th8rs: So, for what i saw in that thread the metal stick is removable, so then i'd just have to find a shorter stick and replace it.
