AC 1.1 can't reach menu

Hey guys,
I installed the 1.1 today, I don't have the DLC.
I started everything as usual as ever, but when I clicked "Main Menu":


I just get a grey display and nothing more happened (The "DEMO VERSION" is from my Screenshot program):


What can I do? Right before the start I installed a few new mods, but I don't think it has sth to do with them.

Corvette C6R
Audi A4 R9 Martini Racing
Norisring (from AC Forum)
Nordschleife

Yes, of course I buyed it, monthes ago when it was in Early access, and befor the 1.1 update everything worked fine.

I renamed the My Docs AC folder by putting __ in front, deleted AC folder from Steam folder, then reinstalled. All good now. Virgin game with no mods.
Only thing I did was copy Luca's G27 settings from the AC forum. Awesome!

Okay, I'll try somethinh tomorrow:
1. Copy the content folder, to save all the mods and tracks.
2. Delete AC folder
3. Reinstall via Steam

I would delete the AC folder through steam though, just to be sure

Was just checking, as it seemed like an easy counter-piracy measure

i was getting stuck at the 'populating car lists' deleted all the mod cars I had, deleted assetto corsa folder in documents and then restarted, as of now, i can play the game, however i cannot play on any modded cars or tracks 9only the ones that came with the game0

What error, they don't show up, or they do but hangs when loading?

it wouldn't even let me into the main menu

Yes, so it hangs. Some mods require you to change the sound files and/or aero.ini.
