AC is a great sim. Just a few questions...

Hey guys, really loving AC. I do have a few questions...

1. Is it normal that to start a race I have to keep the car in neutral and then floor it and pop it into first when the lights go out? I have the Thrustmaster T300 RS wth clutch pedal. I was assuming that I would put the clutch in, rev it while in 1st, and then drop the clutch on start. That doesn't seem to work.

2. I installed Sol (awesome) and have the paid version of Content Manager. I seem to have lost all but a very little of the god rays/solar glare. I get a little, but it is hardly noticeable. Any idea how to increase that effect?

3. I like the DLC Ferrari 2013 F1 car. Are there skins available to have a proper 2020 race season with skins and drivers?

With pressed clutch you can switch to first gear just a few moments (3rd or 4th light?) before the lights go off and start after that with your clutch.

You can put it in 1st gear in after the third or fourth light, but you need to have panelties for jump start enabled, otherwise you're being held at the line.

"In Sol it's a designed as, because it causes problems in triple screen mode. Just select another filter and set the option "sol modifies godrays" to off with the sol_config app, If you use Sol..."

Not that I'm aware of. I don't think there even is a 2013 skin pack for the car.

If you mean are there skins for the 2020 F1 season... well, yes there are, but you’ll need to spend a couple of quid (literally, it’s not much) on the RSS Formula Hybrid 2020 car - https://racesimstudio.com/shop. I think most the 2020 skins have been recreated now. You just have to sift through the skins pages in the mods section.
