AC keeps crashing at the same point on each track

Hi all,

Im new to AC and the forum and seam to be having a bit of an issue!

Last night every car and track I used crashed in exactly the same place, I thought I must have been a mod I installed so I whent ahead and uninstall all of them and this still didn't work. Now today it does the same thing plus iv lost all sound!

Anyone else had an issue like this?

I suppose the game was working perfectly before the install of the mod ?
If so, surely a mistake was done at the mod install causing this problem.... if you also did a mistake when uninstalling ... the result didn't change anything.

To get a working base game back, check the files integrity in Steam.
If you don't know how it works:
- in Steam, list of your games
- right click on Assetto Corsa
- choose "Properties"
- go to the "Local Files" tab
- click on " Verify Integrity of game files"
It'll verify all files and redownload the missing or corrupted files.

Anyone else had an issue like this?

I had an issue like that, it would crash at the finish line after the first lap on Road America, didn't try other tracks, I deleted my ghost files for that track and it cured it.

If after you verify the steam files it still does the same thing you could try (at your own risk) renaming your \documents\Assetto Corsa folder and let it make another one, you can copy your settings back if it works, or simply delete the new one and rename the old one if it doesn't.
