AC RC issue - general sound issues

i am now experiencing in car sounds level issues after the latest update is anyone else? if so does anyone have a fix for this please?

What exactly is your issue? What have you tried so far to eliviate it?

i have no volume at all if i am in bonnet view and in car is really quite i have tried to turn the master volume to 1 but that did noting for me i looked into my audio ini but i could really see anything in there for it and the update was around 65mb this is how my audio.ini looks

WIND=0.9
TYRES=0.8
BRAKES=0.8
MUSIC=1
UISOUNDS=0.7
SURFACES=1
DIRT_BOTTOM=1

i have just looked into the 458's sfx folder and the only file i have in there is a .bank in fact it the same for all the cars is this correct?

kunos i have the urd mod as well and i get no sound at all from them but i believe they are looking into it

that's correct, all sound & physics files of Kunos cars are encrypted.

Are you sure the fault lies with the game? There was an (mainly) audio update 1/2 h ago.
Have you checked the windows sound config in the control panel?

no i will have a look now

it all looks fine...
when i am behind the car it sounds fine

If there is a chance that you have file issues or are missing files, you can run the Steam "Verify Integrity of the Game Cache" to double check or even replace missing files.

was just about to say that, @Dean Ogurek

A clean install is recommended anyway, the new sound engine (Fmod) mixes things up. hrhr

i did a clean install this morning i deleted the game and pulled down the 5gb update everything was ok just popped out for a few hrs turned it back on run the new update and now this i don't really want to re install as it took like 4hrs to download this morning

I'm having a problem where the sound normally works but sometimes it cuts for a second, then resume playing, i'm not sure if it's my hardware or the game.

I know it never happened before 1.0 so...

there is definitely something up as i can hear all the other noises clearly like kerbs and tyres just not my engine

tested with the 458 gt2 and all sounds seem fine
