AC server command prompt

Hi there,

I've been wondering, when an Assetto Corsa server is running, is it possible to send commands to it to find out which session is in progress from the local machine that the server is running on? E.g. type in the command prompt 'get session' and have it return the literal string of practice, qualifying or race? Any way at all really.

I can only assume this is possible as I've seen websites showing player count et al and the game itself polls the server list, just need to know if there's anyway of doing this locally...

Yes, there is a CLI api. But I do not believe the features you want are included by default. You should be able to roll your own though.
