ACC Car Set Ups and T3PA Pedal set

Firstly, massive thanks to all those that post their car set ups.
I've been battling away with the aggressive set ups in cars and struggling to match others lap times. Sometimes 6-7 seconds off the very best!
Eventually bit the bullet and downloaded some random set ups off of the forum just to see if there where any differences. Every set up that I tried I was immediately knocking off 2-3 seconds a lap without even pushing.
Secondly, after getting frustrated with the pedal set, I removed the brake mod and am knocking off another couple of seconds a lap, as I'm able to brake better and later and harder.

All of a sudden I just got a whole lot quicker and the game just got a whole lot better again!

Hi,

Sorry I really don't want to ruin your setup dreams but no setup is going to speed you up 2 to 3 second, let alone more. Setups are about the finesses and tweaks that will result in minimal performance gain when you can race on the max of your ability lap after lap.

My best tip to improve is to take one car on one track, don't modify the setup and just run lap after lap after lap after lap until you consistently run the same laptimes.

With respect I have tried that and been very consistent, using aggressive set up, within two laps of using a new set up I'd shaved 2.5 secs off Monza in 720s, admittedly my best lap time is now only a late 1.50, but will easily do a low 1.49 when i next have time! I was struggling to get a sub 1.53 regularly before, have not tried Monza since I removed the brake mod, but think that will also help, it sure did around Misano, which was the only track I managed to try after removing the brake mod.
