add g25 shifter unit to the dfgt

hi everybody ive made a pretty decent sim cockpit and needed a wheel to finish it so i bought a driving force gt from the local shop didnt really know about the whole g25 g27 craze not im regretting it bigtime !!

ive made the cockpit with one of my spare impreza seats and am wanting to add a center console out of an impreza classic facelift model - plenty of room for buttons, handbrake and gear stick!

Im an electrical engineer so im handy with the building, fabrication and eletrical side of it all, im just wondering if anybody has read up or know about the H shifter from the 25/27s ?

the shifter on the dfgt is a simple up / down type. Is the board in the g25/g27 just basicallly the same ? ie knows that the movement 1st-2nd is classed as a simple 'up' change and 4th-3rd is a simple 'down' change ?

I think the way it works with G25 every gear is a button. Have a look at Leo Bodnar USB device for button box. You can use with a G25 shifter for the inputs.
