add resistance to g29 wheel?

Is their any way to add a little resistance to a g29 wheel(safely) without using force feedback that adds a lot of clunks ....my old and very good Momo, had a setting in the game controller portion of the set up that allowed me to add some centering force with out using force feed back. my g29 just rotates way to easily with out any force feed back.

Guess nobody reads these posts.
Perhaps, like me, they read but are unsure how to help.
Among other settings in Logitech Gaming Software, which supports G29, there is:
"[] Enable Centering Spring in Force Feedback Games",
... which would seemingly correspond to whatever you set in Momo game controller portion of setup.
It will literally use some of the G29 motors' torque, leaving less for feedback, but that would be true with any wheel
that did not literally have, separate from motors, a physical centering spring, which could not be configurable by software
and would still work against motor torque.
