After installing mods back to 1.0?

Hi there,

I'm a little confused. After I installed some mods yesterday (DRM 2.2, WES Endurance Mod, Blancpain GT3 Mod, FIA GT3 2010, Porsche 911 Cup RSR 3.0L) I fired up GSCE and in the loading screen it says Verison 1.0. We all know that it's 1.27 atm...

So, I'm somehow confused. Also the UI is reworked and looks odd in my opinion.
But I don't know which mod changed that and how I can undo this (yes...I could make a fresh install).

Would be great if anyone had some ideas/hints.

I think the blancpain is a total conversion if I remember right, total conversions should be used on a separate install of the game as they alter things such as the ui

You can restore the original UI and keep the BES mod by simply running a sync (or verifying the install on Steam).

Blancpain changed the ui. I'd give that ui a go before changing it back though. I think it's the rFactor ui. I certainly prefer the RFactor UI (and many others do too).

Yes…it’s not all about design, you’re right.
But the normal UI worked for me also, so I’ll try to get it back.

The version 1.0 refers to the blancpain mod I believe, gsce will still be running 1.27

As Bez says, your game will still be running at 1.27 so no probs there.

Very easy to get the splash screen back to put your mind at ease....put the image file LegalNotice.jpg from a clean install into the UIData folder installed currently. You do have a clean install folder?

It is purely an old splash screen from one of your mods showing you version 1.00 and it will be the mod that installed the rfactor style UI

It's just a jpg image that is being overwritten by the one from the BES mod in the uiData folder. The file is LegalNotice.jpg. It has no effect on the version number that is installed.
