AI drive out after session is over

When I accelerate a qualifying session to finish that portion, I will see AI cars continue to pit as if they have completed their qualifying run, but then, both before & after the timer has expired, the AI cars will randomly exit their garage like they are heading out for another run.
This doesn't change things, I just observe all the cars have finished and then advance to the race or warmup. Just seems untidy that they go back out when everything should be completed & the cars should be in the garage until the next session.

Try accelerating to 95+ % , stop it select finish session

I rarely do quick races I use AI 1-2hour with stops and can't remember it happening

In qualifying select max laps I found that works better
make laps run out easy before qualifying finishes
So max 6 laps set 1 hour + qual then AI run out of laps and pit rather then being on track when timer runs out

Many things to do for good AI experience in rF2 oodles

ie:
laps run out you will get warning to pit next lap or get penalty and the AI follow same thing
So once you pit you can't get in car again same for the AI even though time is left on clock

No flags no penalties no SC for good AI races this is a MUST

You will still see all the flags still and you can obey them if the ai do
like sometimes you will get them passing under yellow
sometimes not so just do what they do

Honestly I never had many races would need a SC 95% of yellow flags in rF2 will clear in seconds

Using flags and SC in rF2 expecting things like un lapping yourself or cars not to pass under yellow or get penalty to pit it don't work so don't use it
