AI Headlights

Is there a way to make the AI headlights come on sooner? On some tracks their headlights do not come on until it is quite dark and it's very difficult to see them until it's too late and I crash into them. Or I can't see them coming up from behind. I hear them but can't see them. Thank you for any help

Or perhaps a mod that keeps the ai headlights on at all times. I've seen one, but that was only for a clean install of GTR2 or PnG. Is there one out there that would work for any mod?

To get Ai headlights on earlier and keep on later go to the tracks .gdb files
Find the entries
SunriseDirectionalColour = (120,110,105)
SunsetDirectionalColour = (120,90,55)
Those values are are just examples.
Change them so that the average sum is below 50 Like (49,49,49) or (70, 20,4).
It will give you 2 hours earlier and later lights on.
