AI Pit Stop?

Hi all! I’m not playing for a long time, I’m playing with AI for now, and there are not many questions) What kind of race is this without pit stops =)
Do AI use pit stops?
If they call on the pit stops, do they change the tires and do refueling, or just pass it without changing anything?

I watched quite a few videos and somehow didn’t notice that the AI would go into the boxes, maybe there is some kind of mod for this? Thanks!

I do not know what is going on or how the AI are programed, but after passing the pits during a race, I do see cars in the pits lane. I could be because being damaged.
note: I’m using CM full btw.
