F1 2014 AI Pitting In The Rain

I Played last night a 50% career race at Malaysia.What puzzles me is,that in the last laps it started to rain. First lightly,then hard.I went in pits and changed to intermediates in the last lap
,but ai didn`t change. I overtook many cars because of that. So is ai`s pitting ok in this game? I mean in the rain.It was funny,that they drove with slicks in the hard pouring rain.

Well, for me there aren't problems, maybe is just strategy. They took the risk of stay out and hope. Sometimes it happens real F1 too and it can be a right choice.
