Ai very bad now 1.5.4

nurburgring gtgt3 and gt2 cars

Started a weekend race, and in practice i saw cars slowing down for no reason.
Had to slow down to steer free from the cars, and the same happened in qualify.
Then when race started i noticed that a BMW GT2 car started to slow down to 10-15 kmph
and four cars behind followed the BMW GT2 for about 400-500 meters then the BMWGT2 stopped and the BMWGT2 and the other 4 cars was in pitstop

Is your pc good? The cpu, ram, and gpu. I'm asking this because if you put too many opponents on the track, your cpu and ram may not handle that well, so the game will slow down because those pc parts can't keep up.
Try the same race, but with max 5 opponents. See if something changed with the cars performance.

If is not that, did you check in the replay to see what happened for the cars to slow down and not manage to over take?

I'm having the exact same issue. Also out of 21 cars, the first 15 or so are usually retired before the end of the first lap

Same. Bridgehamptom 18 cars(Lotus 25), 16 laps.
Some cars had engine turned off and cars behind making a slow lane plus random pitstops.
But in normal fast traffic, they are ok and fun.

Had the same problem in qualifying with Silverstone National and with all Kunos GT3 cars. I got the impression that they weren't speeding up when they leave the pits and were just sticking to the pit limiter speed all the way around. It adds some challenge but is not exactly immersive.

all gt3 andcars

Did a new raceweekend with only one of each gt3 cars 24 laps race
nurburgring gp-(gt)
I think the problem is the amount of fuel for the ai cars because i discovered that when a Ai car that had fuele enough for at least one lap, when that car came up to a car without fuel but was rolling slowly on the track then the car would stay behind and push the car in front.
And then more cars with fuel stay behind the second car with fuel.
making it a cartrain.

i have only tried this track.

There do seem to be some fuel oddities with 1.5 which I guess Kunos know about by now. At the weekend I did the Ford Escort Special Event at Imola on the Alien difficulty and after 3 of the 4 laps all the AI pitted, I guess for fuel.
